Documents for an overseas German IdNr application

Our service requires a passport scan and proof of your residential address. Both documents, and all information you provide, must be genuine. We review the materials as part of the €500 service.

Passport scan: make the information readable

Prepare a clear scan in which the identity information is legible. Keep the page edges visible and avoid glare or blurred images. These are preparation tips to help us review your materials, not a statement that every authority uses the same document rules.

  • Do not edit identity details or alter the document.
  • Tell us if the passport is expired or being renewed.
  • Use the same legal name consistently in your enquiry and documents.

Proof of your residential address

Prepare a genuine document showing your residential address. Confirm with us which document you plan to provide before commissioning the service. Acceptance of a particular document is checked for your case; a random address screenshot should not be assumed sufficient.

  • Check whether your name and address are readable.
  • Tell us about a recent move or an address change.
  • If information differs between documents, explain the difference.

For recovery of an existing IdNr

Tell us that a number was assigned before. If you have relevant old correspondence, describe what is available so we can identify the appropriate next step. You do not need to seek a new number simply because the original letter was lost.

How to provide your documents

Start with a brief enquiry through WhatsApp, Telegram or email. We will confirm the method for providing the passport scan and proof of address before you send them. This website has no document-upload form and does not store application files.

Document review and application assistance are included in the €500 fee. There are no additional fees; unsuitable cases receive a full refund.
