German IdNr assistance: €500 fee, inclusions and refund
Our fixed service fee is €500. It covers document review and application assistance. There are no additional fees. The fee pays for our independent assistance service, not for the government to issue a number.

What is included?
The service concerns a first-time personal IdNr application or recovery of an existing number for a non-German client residing outside Germany. We help receive the official result.
- Review of the passport scan and proof of address.
- Assistance with the agreed application or recovery process.
- Help receiving the official result; completion when you obtain your IdNr.
What is outside this service?
We do not accept clients residing in Germany. The service concerns the personal tax identification number, not an application for a Steuernummer or a general tax-advice engagement. Contact us if you are unsure which number has been requested.
When does a full refund apply?
If your case is unsuitable for this service, the €500 fee is refunded in full. Explain your situation and reason for needing the number so we can assess it. Contact us to confirm the refund arrangements for your case.
What should be clear before you commission us?
Confirm that you live outside Germany, whether this is a first application or recovery, and the documents you will provide. All materials must be genuine.
The estimated time to obtain your IdNr is 2–4 months. We help receive the official result, and the service is complete when you obtain the number.
